Common questions

How do I log a rent payment?

Open RentRight, tap Payments, then + Log Payment. Enter the tenant, amount, and method. Both you and the tenant get a record immediately — no more screenshot disputes.

My tenant did not receive the WhatsApp message

RentRight uses WhatsApp Business API. The tenant must have saved the RentRight business number in their contacts for delivery confirmation. Ask them to add the number shown on Settings → WhatsApp.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Tenants: tap Maintenance → New Request, add photos and a description. Landlords: you get a notification and can assign or respond directly in the app.

Can tenants pay rent through the app?

Direct payment processing varies by country. In the Cayman Islands, we support Island Pay and bank transfer logging. Other regions: payment logging only at this stage.

How do I add a new property?

Settings → Properties → + Add Property. Enter address, unit count, and tenant info. You can invite tenants to their own RentRight account from this screen.

How do I delete my account and data?

The fastest way is in-app: Settings → Account → Delete account. If you have uninstalled, use our self-serve form at xenosoftsolutions.com/data-deletion?app=rentright — pick the app, tick the confirmation, submit. All personal data removed within 7 business days (CSAE / GDPR compliant). CSAE compliant.
