Common questions

How do I list surplus food?

Donors: tap + List Food, take a photo, add quantity and pickup window. Available charities in your area get an instant notification.

I am a charity — how do I claim food?

Browse the Available tab, tap any listing, and confirm pickup. The donor is notified. Arrive within the pickup window shown.

What happens if I cannot pick up in time?

Tap the listing → Release. The food returns to the available pool so another charity can claim it. Do not let food go to waste in your name.

How is impact tracked?

Every completed pickup is logged with quantity and weight (when provided). Your Impact tab shows meals saved, kg diverted, and CO2 equivalent over time.

How do I add my restaurant or grocery store as a donor?

Download ShareTable, choose "I am a Donor" during signup, verify your business email, and complete the short verification form. Approval usually takes 24 hours.

How do I delete my account?

The fastest way is in-app: Settings → Account → Delete account. If you have uninstalled, use our self-serve form at xenosoftsolutions.com/data-deletion?app=sharetable — pick the app, tick the confirmation, submit. All personal data removed within 7 business days (CSAE / GDPR compliant). Impact statistics are retained in anonymized form for community reporting.
