How to delete your data from ShareTable and other XenoSoft apps.

Method 1: Delete Through the App

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app. Follow these steps:

  • Open the app and navigate to Settings
  • Select Account
  • Tap Delete Account
  • Enter your password to confirm your identity
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted

Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated immediately and your data will be queued for permanent removal.

Method 2: Contact Support

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can contact our support team to request deletion on your behalf.

  • Send an email to hello@xenosoftsolutions.com
  • Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include the email address associated with your account and the app name
  • We will verify your identity and process the request

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account credentials and login information
  • Personal profile details (name, email, phone number)
  • Food rescue history and activity logs
  • Preferences and saved settings
  • Location data and address information
  • Notification settings and communication preferences

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Transaction records: Financial and transaction data may be retained to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Aggregated analytics: De-identified, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for service improvement

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you can no longer sign in
  • Within 7 days: Personal data is removed from our active systems
  • Within 30 days: Data is removed from backups and archived systems

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Once your account has been fully deleted, it cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again.

Can I delete specific data without deleting my entire account?

Yes. You can manage and delete certain data from within the app settings, such as clearing your activity history or removing saved addresses. Contact support if you need help deleting specific data while keeping your account active.

Will deleting my account affect other users?

Your deletion will not affect other users' accounts. However, shared activity - such as completed food rescues or group events - may still appear in other users' histories in a de-identified form.
